| Introduction | I'm an American who grew up on Long Island, NY and we moved to a suburb of Philadelphia, PA at the age of 14. I learned to cook from my mom who always made sure I was in the kitchen with her when she made dinner or was baking. I now live in the SE of England with a Brit whom I met while still in the U.S. I've been here just over six years and it took some time to get used to the different foods here along with the fact that I couldn't find some items that I was always used to being able to obtain. I now make preserves, pickles and chutneys which I sell at one of the local farmer's markets once a month. |
