| Introduction | I am a wife, a mother of two, and most of all an individual who strives to be successful(not perfect, mind you) in each of these capacities. My professional background was in early childhood education for over 10 years. In 2008, I stopped working outside the home and transitioned to my current role as a "stay at home mom" (whatever that title means). In this time I have taking on many new projects. Currently, I am a Columnist for the Stoughton Patch. I hold several positions in additional committees and clubs that I am passionate about; the MOMS Support Coordinator for the Stoughton MOMS Club, a Darkness to Light facilitator,a member of the Hansen Elementary School PTO and the Stoughton Historical Society and Cultural Council. My hope is that by being actively involved I can advocate for the issues that matter most to local Moms. |
| Interests | I love to read both personally and to my children. I love to write, listen to music that feeds my soul, meditate, and volunteer in purposeful ways. |
| Favorite movies | Anne of Green Gables, Charlotte's Web, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad World and almost any Jane Austen film. |
| Favorite music | It all depends on my mood: Bob Marley, The Eagles, Janis Joplin, eminem, old school Dr. Dre, other times I need my Zen CD to tune everything else out! |
| Favorite books | Simplicity Parenting, Parenting with Love and Logic, Stargirl, A Little Princess, Charlotte's Web, Perfect Madness |
You're in the grocery store with a broken cart. How will you ever be that hungry?
I would get the necessities in a hand basket or my reusable bag and be done with it!
