Introduction Now that I’m retired, I am enjoying time to myself with my wife, Grace. I have had several careers over the years, including K-12 administration (research, evaluation, testing & data processing) and university teaching (Psychology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems,& Educational Technology) at the community college (RCC), undergraduate (Biola & APU) and graduate (APU) levels. I also headed up my own software and computer training company with both educational and corporate clients throughout southern California.

Grace and I have enjoyed our travels in both the US and Europe (UK, Scotland, Germany & France). I also have travels in Asia (Vietnam, Taiwan & Japan). Our oldest daughter lives in Germany with our only grandchild, Maté, so we have made several trips there, either together or alone.

We currently have been searching our family roots and look forward to visiting some of the town where our ancestors lived in both this country and Europe. These trips have provided wonderful opportunities for photography; future trips should be even more rewarding in that regard now that I have improved my photographic techniques.
Interests My chief interest these days is in photography, especially landscapes, nature, wildlife and architecture. I still keep up with technology, but use it to facilitate my other activities, especially with Photoshop, the Internet, my gadgets (cell phone, iPod, Ipaq and Kindle). I enjoy reading both fiction and non-fiction in English, French and German.
Favorite Movies I prefer some of the series like National Treasure, Indiana Jones, the Librarian, Harry Potter and the Tom Clancy-based movies. But I also like to watch French-language movies like Lady Chatterly and Muliére; I also like German-language movies like The Lives of Others and Goodbye, Lenin.
Favorite Music I like both Country and Jazz/Fusion, with a little bit of Show tunes and Classical thrown in for good measure.
Favorite Books My favorite books include the Harry Potter series, Photography books (many varieties), and authors like Tom Clancy, Ken Follett, & Robert Ludlum. I also read several news magazines each week and enjoy my various photo magazines as well. I also like to read a variety of French- and German-language books (both fiction and non-fiction) and online news feeds.
