| Introduction | Hi! I'm ItsNot2Late2Skate, but you can call me IN2L2S. Has a ring, doesn't it? I'm a mid-twenties adult figure skater and expat in Russia, here for a 3-year work stint with my fiance. My first love is singing and music, but opportunities to keep this up in Russia were thin on the ground, so I needed a new obsession - and found it. Figure skating. It's a craze in Russia, much bigger than in the UK, but to my dismay, the adult skating scene is badly under-developed. And so are adult skater online blogs. So my blog is here to help all those of you who feel a bit at sea as adult figure skaters. Hopefully our challenges, advice and shared experiences will help bring a new community together to help share in the joy that is figure skating - no matter how late you started. |
