| Introduction | I am a professor of special education at East Tennessee State University. The FUNEAP foundation (Fundación Enseñando a Aprender – Teaching to Learn Foundation) is sponsoring my work in Ecuador in 2011. FUNEAP is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve the accessibility and quality of inclusive education for children with learning difficulties. My husband, Mike, and I arrived in Ecuador on January 16, 2011 and will be here until December 15. |
