Introduction	In 1997 we went for the first time on a road trip in Australia, after one week in Sydney, we flew to Adelaide, rented a tiny Hi-Top van and went on the Stuart Highway, via Alice Springs we drove to Darwin in two weeks. From there we flew to Cairns, rented another van and drove to Brisbane, where we spent another week with friends of ours. In 1999 we went for the first time for a road trip to the US, we started in Vancouver and drove South, did nearly 9.000 km in 4 weeks and we were hooked. We loved it so much that after spending all most every holiday after that, in the States, we planned a mega trip for the year 2006, a whole year on the road. We had a blast, needless to say. When we came back early 2007 we did not plan any major trips back to America until recently, in January we planned our 7th road trip to the States.
