| Introduction | Anyone ever told you that when you turn 30, it's all downhill from there"??? well I'm here to tell you that it's true. Since I've turned 30(4 years ago)and had my baby (my 3rd child), I have had depression, anxiety and need meds for them, I have no motivation, I'm tired all the time, I'm tense and stressed, my cholesterol is through the roof and my blood pressure is sky high. I took ONE pill when I turned 30. NOW I'm on 6 different pills and I hate them all. I weigh about 60 pounds more than I did when I was 30..it kills me to try to be positive about all this...so I just don't do it, LOL.....A goal I have been trying to work on is self improvement. I want to eat right and exercise and "find myself", if that makes any sense. Don't get me wrong, I cherish my family and there is nothing more rewarding than being a mom to my 3 wonderful children. as for everything else, I work(LPN), sleep, study for my RN classes, run the kids where they need to go, clean the house and get as much sleep as I am able. My life is redundant and I need a change. I need fresh perspective on not only my life but my views on things happening in the world. |

| Favorite movies | It's very rare for me to not enjoy a movie. Anything from comedies to romance to drama to horror to documentaries....I love it all! I love musicals, like fiddler on the roof, mary poppins, my fair lady and sound of music. I love any movie that has dancing in it like dirty dancing, foot loose and step up. I also like classics like "withering heights","the shawshank redemption" and "dead poets society". My eleven yr old daughter and I are on a twilight/new moon kick right now! Let the bonding begin=) |
| Favorite music | I like all music, depending on what I need at the time. If I need a pick me up or need to clean my house and need the energy, hip hop and rap and dance music is the best way to go. If you are in a dance club, bring on the techno. Classical music is nice if you are just relaxing. Country music is when you are just vegging, whether driving or fixing something out in the garage. I love Fredericks Handell's water music, I used to have to have that in order for me to fall asleep. Sometimes just the silence around me(no music) is music to my ears! |
| Favorite books | Mystery books by mary higgins clark and love stories by Nicholas Sparks. True crime-books written about jon-benet ramsey, diane downs, susan smith, andrea yates, and many more. and last but not least, self help books that have helped me in so many ways.....The dance of anger, skinny bitch, eat pray love, i'm not lazy, crazy or stupid, the artists way, and the love dare. |
