IntroductionHello, my name is Bill and my QTH is Tuckerton, New Jersey, grid FM29tn. I’ve been a licensed Ham since 1985. After about a 20 year absents I been back active since June 2009. I’m proud to hold a Amateur Extra license. My call “WX4AR” is a vanity call that represents my two favorite interests, that being weather watching and amateur radio, WX (weather) 4 (for) AR (amateur radio). My former call was KA2WYG. My shack consists of a Yaesu FT-450 with the MD-100 desk mic, MFJ 949E tuner, 20 meter dipole and a G5RV for HF work. A Yaesu FT-60r with a dual band ground plane is used for VHF/UHF. I enjoy SSB phone and BPSK-31. I’m working on CW but must admit the code is tough. My XYL and me are looking forward to a move to North Carolina as soon as the market improves. Once there I hope to set up a tower with a Yagi. I spend the rest of my time keeping up with current events and figuring out how such events affect my family. I'’ a proud father of three and grandfather of four.
