| Introduction | I'm Alison Aves, and I started this blog as a way to document a year-long JDRF fundraising effort I've committed myself to, but I hope to grow it beyond the confines of running and diabetes. I'm a 38-year-old mom of two who recently moved from a major urban center (San Francisco Bay Area) to a much smaller town (Chapel Hill, NC) and cut out working outside the home for now, and I quickly realized I needed a project and some goals beyond those of raising not-serial-killer children. So here we are. |
