Introduction	I was born at Badatota,a village near Bhubaneswar/Khurda in Odisha,India.I started writing in Odia, my mother tongue, when I was only 11. I started writing poems in English since 1965 at the beginning of my High School days. I graduated with English Hons. from P.N.College, Khurda and did my Post Graduation in English from Ravenshaw College, Cuttack. My poems have been getting published in various literary journals and poetry anthologies since 1981. I have published three poetry collections: 1)Voice of the Valley, 2)Another Voyage, 3)Homecoming. I had been working as a teacher in Arunachal Pradesh from 1978 to 2012. I am married and I live at Badatota, my native place, with my wife Manju, daughters Monalisa and Manisha, and son Amaresh.
Interests	Reading,writing(poetry), sight-seeing,watching T.V.,music and photography etc.

Favorite music	old numbers
Favorite books	Old Man and the Sea, The Outsider, Sidhartha, Crime and Punishment, Les Miserables, The Myth of Sysiphus, and Cleopatra by H.R.Haggards etc.
