| Introduction | I have been retired from the US Department of Agriculture since 2003. Retirement is wonderful! I highly recommend it. I fill my days with ceramics classes (as teacher in one and as student in others), aerobics, singing in church choir and sometimes in an amateur drama/music group, volunteering at my church library and at the hospital auxilary gift shop, and visiting thrift stores, yard sales, flea markets and antique stores searching for 'treasure'. I like flower arranging and decorating my home seasonally. I enjoy traveling, and take several long car trips a year, as well as two or three trips to England to visit my daughter and grandchildren. My wish list for travel is a cruise/tour in Alaska and driving across the US. |

| Favorite movies | Haven't been to a movie in years, as my hearing loss makes the experience frustrating. I loved "The Princess Bride" and more recently enjoyed "Stardust" (on video). |
