| Introduction | I'm a sociologist. I love movies and writing. I hope people read my blogs, i've never blogged except on myspace. Bt it's getting old, i'm reaching out for new people. I'm a researcher and a very political person. I stay up to date on what is going on in the world and i like to play game son pogo.com when i can. I'm a college teacher and i love what i do. I know that even if i only help one student change their mind on something, open their eyes to things hey may hav never known about or get them to think differently about race, gender, class and other stereotypes, then i have done what i was sent here to do. I do not like racist people, classist people, or sexist and homophobic people. I practice what I teach and i refuse to be a hypocrite . I know i have changed a few minds already in my short few years of teaching and that i have actually helped some others in that time period to. I believe in being proactive in society and work for change instead of being reactive and waiting for it. |
