| Introduction | "Who am I?" Truth be told, either it is in the doing that we become who we are, or maybe we do only because of who we are. What I do is write a lot of notes to folks. I've editored some newsletters. I sew some- clothes, quilts, upholstery, etc. I do NOT like to shop (odd for today's woman, isn't it?) nor do I like yard work or housework but I keep things to a manageable level of messy. My husband and I have 9 grandsons and 1 darling little granddaughter, none of whom live nearby. Our dogs own us, we are not delusional about who's the boss around here! Our donkey, Edward R Burro, is the neighborhood mascot who loves to have children come visit him, particularly if they bring carrots! I'm a homebody who likes to watch funny movies and listen to jazz on KPLU, our local NPR radio station. Now I'm heading back to my sewing room to finish that cute little dress for my granddaughter. Tomorrow I'll help my friend make costumes for the church's Christmas play. Fun times! |
