| Introduction | We were married July 14, 2007. Our son Elias Howell was born on June 20, 2008 and Garrison James was born April 3, 2010. Tara retired from teaching kindergarten (after 6 years) to stay at home with the boys. She was born and raised in Durham, NC. Matthew has graduated from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently seeking God's direction for ministry. He was raised in Villa Rica, GA. We are a family that is seeking to glorify Christ through our lives and relationships. We are convinced that we are sinners in need of God's grace, and thankful that we have a Creator who made us for something more and provided the way of salvation through Jesus Christ. Through His death on the cross we have freedom from our sin, and our futile way of life, and now can live life to its fullest, under the Lordship of Christ.
