| Introduction | Hello, this is Carla and it's time to update. In September, I will be 49 yrs. old. I'm with the love of my life, Charles, who has proven over and over, that he loves me unconditionally. For the last 11 or so years, we have been dealing with chronic pain from Fibro, arthritis, and now both of my SI joints have fused. In 2003 I had bypass surgery, first stent after 1st yr. and second stent the second year. I am DOWN to 42 pills per day. 7 yrs ago we were told to get my living will, power of attorney and a will ready since I didn't have long to live. We try to live a normal life, but you will read, if you want to see God Smile, Make Plans, which leads to the Title of this blog...Laugh AND cry..not laugh OR cry..we do alot of both around here just to keep our sanity. I don't want to make this all about pain and saddness, tho there is going to be some, I would like to think that I could add some day to day, life with a chronic pain "person", and how we deal with it. Maybe it can help someone, bring a laugh, a tear, and idea. Give me some feedback on what you enjoy, might help you. welcome to our lives. :) |
