| Introduction | I used to believe that God did (or should do) everything at the snap of His mighty fingers. This perspective brought much discouragement and disbelief into my life, as it does in lives of so many. God in His mercy, chose to break down my empty pride, crooked mindset, and prayerless ways through a series of trials and temptations that began in the Spring of 2010. It was only in this shattered state that I truly looked up from the dust in which I lay and saw God as He was, terrifyingly holy and infinitely compassionate. I learned that the Christian walk is a process which can only be completed one breath at a time. We are only guaranteed the breath we are taking in this very moment. Don't put your expectations ON God, but place your trust IN Him. He promises to do amazing things. He may not work when and where and how you imagine. Ask Him to do what it takes to make you a display of His glory and watch your Maker work. |
