| Introduction | I was born in Ethiopia but grew up here in the U.S. It's been an amazing journey, that I would never forget. What I tell anybody is keep going, don't stop, whatever your you are faced with or whatever your situation is. I love all the people that I met that helped me become who I am today. One thing that I wish, is that I wish I had my sister next to me. Everyday I when I wake up and go to sleep I always think of her. How she saw me leave but never saw me come back. That will always kill me. But I do appreciate her being my guide angel. I will always love her. Rest in peace. Other than the sorrows and the pains that I grew up with missing my sister I am going to school, I will be done in 300+ days, getting a degree in speech and communications and a minor in sports coaching. I really love sports. My favorite sports are basketball, soccer, football, baseball, and blind beep baseball. My favorite teams are the Lakers, St. Louis Rams, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Heat. My favorite players are Shaq, Kobe, D Wade, Torry Holt, and Leonard Little. My favorite athletes are Ethiopian runners. |
