| Introduction | I started this blog to see if I like writing in this format. While I’ve done technical writing, I’ve never kept a journal, which a blog resembles. Maybe it’s because nobody reads a journal. A blog comes with a built-in audience, which to me is like having a muse, someone to write for, someone to impress... The topics that I blog about might be anything that pops into my head or that I think I can say something about, such as where I’ve lived or past careers and hobbies, which include traffic engineering, video production, and three-dimensional images. When I’m flushed with pride about learning something new, I might put that in the blog. And I may include certain nostalgic experiences, either from my memory or that I wished were in my memory if I had been born earlier... From thinking about nostalgia I came to the question, "What’s happening right now that people in the future might be nostalgic for?” More grist for the blogger’s mill, and it’s where the name of the blog came from... I’m glad you found my blog, and I hope you see something of interest here. |
