Hoppin' Into Junior Kindergarten!

About me

Interests	I am so excited to be teaching JK at Roycemore! I am in my 10th year of teaching. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with an emphasis on Child Psychology as well as Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education. My love of children and teaching has brought me back to education, after spending 15 years in corporate America, most recently as Managing Partner of an E-Discovery Firm. JK is much more fun but there are definitely similarities to working with attorneys and working with four and five year olds! I moved to Chicago from Dallas, TX, so am still somewhat allergic to the winters here. My daughter, Lila, is a fifth grader and loves all things snow and winter related. She is a Chicago girl through and through. She is on a travel soccer team as well as an Irish dancer and plays basketball and flag football. She loves all things sports! While I am not taking Lila to her various activities, I enjoy reading, painting, biking, baking, and laughing with friends. I love the arts and enjoy seeing any live performances, from musicals to athletic events!
