Introduction	I've been a sprint car fan for over 50 years - dating back to when my father used to refer to them as the "big" cars. My late wife used to refer to herself as a "Saturday Night widow" during racing season because she didn't like racing. I was married to my wife, Linda, for 32 years until her death in 2006. We had three kids, but lost our youngest in 2003. I'm very proud of my two living children and my grandson, Caleb.
Interests	Sprint car racing, farming, Nascar, Tony Stewart, dachshund ranching, coin collecting, auctions, spending time with my children (when possible), Iowa Hawkeye football, woodworking, Law Enforcement tv shows, antique tractors, country music.
Favorite movies	Old westerns, Bridge Over the River Kwai, The Great Escape, John Wayne westerns, most Steve McQueen movies, most Clint Eastwood movies, most Jimmy Stewart movies.
Favorite music	Country-Western, some easy listening
Favorite books	Uncle Charlie's Poems, Louis L'Amour books, John Grisham books,
