Introduction	I'm an expat American living in New Zealand. I'm here for a 2 year post-doctoral position in geochemistry, following the completion of my PhD in Chemical Oceanography at NCSU. I am single and hopeful that God will someday provide his perfect choice for my spouse. I am a blessed woman. My mother is my best friend. My father is still the hero I imagined him to be when I was a small child. My niece and nephew are my joy. I am trying to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way.

Favorite music	I have a very eclectic taste in music. I really enjoy the songs I grew up on: Peter, Paul and Mary, The Everly Brothers, Conway Twitty, Mammas and Papas, Simon and Garfunkel; Petra; Ozzy Osbourne; Bon Jovi; Harry Connick Jr; and many, many more.
