| Introduction | Not just your local campus coffee shop, The Motley Coffeehouse has been serving up tasty drinks and treats since 1974. We are a non-profit, non-partisan organization collectively run by students. Currently the largest all-student-run student organization this side of the Mississippi, we provide quality coffee and food using products that come from sustainable and socially responsible sources. We choose our coffee based on quality and source. We're also known for serving up a mean set of biweekly vegan cookies, so delicious that we often run out within the hour! A fun space to study, hang out and let loose, the Motley provides live music every Sunday and Thursday as well as a load of great events. Best of all we are committed to offering our resources and space to positively impact our community. This means creating an opening and welcoming space regardless of race, gender or sexual orientation, class, or age. We actively challenge and question our community, ourselves, and the Motley, allowing for an ongoing process of empowering change. |
