| Introduction | Artists and teachers share a common goal: to nurture creative potential. For artists, creative potential may result in a painting, print or sculpture. For teachers, their work of art is their students. Welcome to the resource network capturing how Arts Horizons' Artist/Teacher Institute impacts teachers, students and the community. For over three decades, The New Jersey Artist/Teacher Institute (aTi) has welcomed classroom teachers, arts teachers, administrators, student teachers and artists to be immersed in a variety of art forms including book arts, creative movement, music, printmaking, storytelling, theater, mixed media and writing. Led by professional arts instructors, aTi participants break through barriers to creative teaching and learning and connect with a community of peers emerging refreshed, renewed, energized and inspired. |
