Introduction	I'm advocating here for the preservation of the River Shannon from the potentially disastrous interference of large-scale water abstraction. I have a B.A. degree in Psychology and English Literature (dual major). My background of multiple chemical sensitivity has left me extra wary of disturbing precious natural resources. I'm a married mother of two, a nonprofessional musician and writer, and 1/4 Irish from the Brennan side.
Interests	Natural resources: This blog was a natural outgrowth of my MCS blog begun in 2011, Daisies and Vinegar (now called Daisies and Vinegar 2011). My experience of MCS made it necessary for me to rely upon natural resources for sustenance. Artistic/academic interests: Singing (nonprofessional), piano, flute, recorder; reading, psychology, mysteries; writing poetry and prose.
