| Introduction | I was brought up in Caol by Fort William, in the Highlands. Following 4 years in Glasgow studying I returned to the Highlands and worked in various roles related to the fishfarming industry. As a result I lived in various places across the Highlands, including Inverness, Skye, Aultbea and Lochcarron. In 2005 I decided to move to Barra where I now live. Good choice in my view. |

| Favorite music | The Vatersay Boys, Martyn Bennet, Peter Gabriel, King Creosote, and many more. |
| Favorite books | Difficult but easier with authors so pretty much anything by, Steinbeck, Neil Gunn, Mark Kurlanski, Iain Banks, recently read Alone in Berlin by Fallada very good. |
