| Introduction | Anglesey, North Wales has a real draw for Roger the Owner of Coastal Spirit. The stunning coastline, the wildlife, hidden bays and beautiful moments. Roger has almost 30 years of experience working in the outdoors and has paddled and led groups in the Southern Ocean, Chilean Patagonia, over a three month period and the Mediterranean Sea. Locations throughout the UK, with the four notable one month long Roof of Britain, West Coast Canada and above the Arctic Circle, Norways; Lofoten islands and twice to the West coast of Greenland. During the early Summer of 2013 Roger paddled around Ireland, with friends Justine and Barry in 43 days. Achieving a long term dream and goal. Roger holds the highest British Canoeing (BC) coaching qualification in sea kayaking, the Level 5 Coach award and is an advanced (5*) leader sea trainer and assessor. Roger is the Director of Coastal Spirit a North Wales, UK based company which specialises in sea kayak courses, coaching, BC performance and leadership courses, mentoring short and long term, sea kayaking programmes and expeditions. |
