| Introduction | Exhibiting their work together for the first time, this group of 8 photographers have come together to form the exhibition "Paralux: Range of Light". As a result, we are presented with a strong, and equally vast compilation of thoughtful light, landscape, portrait, and interior studies. The exhibition includes work by: Anthony Alvarez, Carey Kirkella, Laurie Sermos, Mat Szwajkos, Orrie King, Peter Riesett, Philippe Rohdewald, and Tod Seelie. All graduates of Pratt Institute, between the years 1999 - 2004, each photographer has gone on to shoot professionally; either artistically or commercially, and for some both. Each is committed to their vision, inspired by their peers, and driven to pursue their passion for photography with unyielding motivation. Almost a decade after their overlapping years at Pratt, this dedicated group of artists have come together and are pleased to present, "Paralux: Range of Light". |
