| Introduction | I reverted to Islam in September of 2009, and married my wonderful husband in August of 2010. He is Pakistani from a muslim family, I am American from a christian family. When I came to Islam it was quite a shock to my family, it has not always been easy, but alhamdulillah(all praises to God), my family are wonderful people and have never made an issue about it. Not to say they are happy about it, but they are accepting of me. Best family ever. My husband and I have recently suffered a great loss, the stillbirth of our first son, Nayab, in January of 2012. Please bare with me as I ramble on about my experiences in this uncomfortable new reality. Just taking it one day at a time. |
