Introduction Welcome to my blog! I've started this blog to document my experience of switching my diet over to a completely whole foods diet. What this means is: Everything I consume will be organic, locally grown (if possible), hormone and antibiotic free, only pastured meats, and raw wherever possible. My goal is to eat only these nutrient dense natural foods for the next 60 days (well, hopefully for a lifetime), but the point of the "60 days" is to test a theory that when eating whole, nutritious foods in their natural state, your body naturally needs less of them to be satisfied, thereby guiding you naturally to your perfect body weight. After becoming more interested recently in where my food comes from and how it is made, it has come to my attention just how FAKE so many of the foods I’ve been consuming are, and it makes sense why they would be unsatisfying having been stripped of so many enzymes and nutrients. I’m interested to see just what kind of effect introducing real foods into my diet will have, and I’m excited to get cooking with real ingredients and share with you little bits of wisdom I pick up a long the way!
