Introduction	I am starting a volunteer adventure tour company. This blog is a posting of some of the highlights from my trips to East Africa - Tanzania (mainland), Uganda and Zanzibar. It was an adventure, and needless to say, there are so many opportunities to help people who want to become entrepreneurs and kids who want to go to school. Voluntourism has not shrunk, despite the economic climate, and helping people to help themselves is key. It is essential to work with knowledgable, experienced, honest field partners who keep low operating expenses in order to keep the interest rates low. I have found some of these organizations and am excited to be working with them. Keep posted for my upcoming tours. Next one Dec. 2oth to Uganda and Tanzania! I look forward to sharing my next East African experience with you, up close and in person.
