| Introduction | Hi everybody! This is the year that I am going to be taking better care of myself...I've been running for a couple of years now with a variety of trials along the way but have just completed my first half marathon at 47 years old. My goal is to be fit by 50 and to accomplish a marathon. This feels like such a lofty goal, but before I started running I never thought that I'd be able to achieve 13.1 miles...Praise God! I've started this blog as a means of talking about life as a busy mom with 5 children, a pastors wife, working part-time at a non-profit, etc...Life gets busy and sometimes you just want to quit but we need to encourage one another to stay the course. Sometimes it's all in our perspective. So let's run with endurance this race marked out for us! Cheers! |
