| Introduction | That's me on the right in this old photo. I like this picture of me as an oilfield engineer in the Middle East, circa 1980. I was about 30 years younger and about 100 lbs. lighter. I've managed projects in Crude Oil gathering, plastics, Vegetable Oil, Cookies (yes, cookies, like chocolate chip), Tuna processing, Flavors and Beverages. Each project is unique and each industry has it's own drivers. In my real life, I'm a fanatical woodworker. I live in my basement, learning the arcane secrets of the plow plane, the fillister, the router and especially the bench plane. I am venturing into the world of power tools, just to speed up production, but traditional hand tools are my first love. |
