Introduction	I grew up in a quiet historic town in Massachusetts. My father was a successful custom home builder and master carpenter. I was practically born with a hammer in hand and sawdust in my blood. As a child I was always on job sites working with my hands. I had my first drafting table by the age of 13 and began drawing my 'dream house.' In high school I knew that I wanted to be a builder. I went to college at Roger Williams University and received a degree in Construction Management and a minor in Architecture and Business. After graduation I landed a job as a project manager for a large firm. Two years later I started to miss residential construction and using my hands. So one day, while driving to work, I decided to quit my job. I took a few months off and in the Fall of 2001 I started my company. WKP Construction now serves all of RI and Southern New England in residential and commercial construction. We specialize in renovation and restoration work.
