| Interests | Czech girl, formed fine artist, recently working on her most challenging piece of art - a family - now in Portugal. I search for pieces of damaged antique furniture that already served for generations and are destined to be burned or demolished. I keep them and I carefully work them off to the format of book cover. I use the beautiful and rich wood for my carving or I complete it with authentic applications. Each cover unique and one of a piece. All books are then hand bound by coptic stitch using mostly recycled paper as reutilization is base of Lacuna's philosophy. |
