About me

Occupation editor/ poet
Introduction (who is sometimes caught referring to herself in the third person) has a chapbook out, Blue Trajectory, available from Dancing Girl Press since October 2011. Her poems have appeared in Arsenic Lobster, blossombones, BluePrintReview, Caper, decomP, Eclectica, elimae, Free State Review, Gargoyle, Ghost Ocean Magazine, Ginosko, KIN, Lines + Stars, The Medulla Review, Prick of the Spindle, Spilt Milk Mag, Thirteen Myna Birds, Tiger's Eye, Wicked Alice, and 2012's Reckless Writing anthology by Chatter House Press. Her book reviews have been featured in The Iowa Review, Lines + Stars and in Melusine, the online journal she founded in 2009 and still edits. She holds an M.A. in Writing from Johns Hopkins University with a concentration in poetry and lives with her partner of 15 years and their two small children in the DC area, where her part-time gigs involve editing of a (generally) unpoetic nature and her full-time gig is often unexpectedly poetic. One of her present goals is to learn to breathe more and think less, within reason (hyperventilation can be counterproductive.)
