| Favorite music | Oh man, I'm a little frustrated with music lately as I go through the painstaking process of adding it all from CD to my itunes library. Some of my favorites are The Rocket Summer, Taking Back Sunday, Jack's Mannequin, Something Corporate (or really, anything by Andrew McMahon. . . who needs to get back to work), Say Anything, Alanis Morissette, Jimmy Eat World, Yellowcard, Snow Patrol, and I'm sure there are plenty of others, I just can't remember anymore. |
| Favorite books | I read less than I should. I absolutely love The Dark Tower Series, by Stephen King, as well as Insomnia and The Stand by him as well. I think I like Cat's Cradle, and am currently reading Slaughterhouse Five by Ray Bradbury. His Dark Materials is a series that is coming out on film, and I love those too. Harry Potter, of course. Right now I am reading "Sex, Drugs, and Coco Puffs" by Chuck Klosterman, which is one of the first books that requires me to keep a dictionary near (leave it to Brittany to send me a book like this XD - but I still love it) and I'm looking to find some of David Sedaris's stuff, and a book by Norman Mailer, which apparently Hastings won't carry even though the guy is one of the top American authors of all time, recently died, and the book is a real story about someone executed by the State of Utah - but apprarently, we can keep all of Ann Coulter's books on the shelves. . . |
Which do you prefer and why: whittling with soap or whistling with wood?
I think I would prefer whistling with wood because it would require less effort, and you could annoy more people easier.
