Introduction	I am an artist learning to live with Behcets Disease. Behcets is like having Lupus, MS, and Crohn's Disease all at once. Art has always been my constant companion and guide. As an artist I am an astute observer, I like to try to take time to smell the roses as often as I can. I marvel at the the simplicities and complexities of nature feeling very blessed that I am a part of the bigger scheme of things. I am a mother of two beautiful girls and I am blessed with a loving husband and many wonderful friends. Since I have been diagnosed with Behcets it has changed my life and had a effect on my art. It is through this change that I have been bumped onto a journey I did not expect in life and I have come to see that it is time that I use my art to make a difference. My blog A Cause for Art will be about my journey with this disease and feature the causes I support with my art. I am hoping that I will find other artists out there that will share their journeys and their causes with me.
