The Not Very Pinteresty Mum

Introduction	Hi! I’m Kim, the mum who wants to be Pinterest perfect, but is more suited to being a good “before” picture for Marie Kondo. At the time of setting up this blog, my daughter Robyn is 14 months old. She’s in 6-9 month sized clothes, and has the attitude of a 2 year old. She is what the buzzword mums of the internet (especially the blog and Pinterest worlds!) call a Taby. I think that sounds too cute and sweet to describe the practically feral sweetheart I’m trying to raise, so I’m going to call her a Boddler instead - it seems more fitting. I am also owned by a very demanding diva cat (Tiger Lily), and loved unconditionally by a gorgeous border collie (Byron). I live in south east England with my fiancé “Robyn’s Daddy”. We’ve been together for what feels like forever. And I mean that in both a good and draining way! As with all families, we navigate our way through life experiencing ups and downs. I have a pretty twisted sense of humour at times, and I apply that to my parenting sometimes - hence being Not Very Pinteresty, and my blog which hopefully makes you feel better about your own home life, either by recognising the chaos or by seeing things could be worse!
