Introduction	As the world grinds to a halt people are finding themselves with a lot more time on their hands, I’m no exception. With global borders currently locked down it may be some time before we can travel again. As the isolation sets in I’ve found a whole new appreciation for the freedom we once took for granted and cast a fond gaze towards the travels of my past. With a fascination for history, a curiosity for other cultures and a woefully underused degree in journalism I thought a retrospective was in order and the blog was born. Expect a mix of history, tenuous facts, random musings, needless diversions and original photography (from a four year old potato phone) as I meander through memory and attempt to reconstruct the travels of my past.
