| Introduction | I was born the youngest of four siblings. The eldest, Elizabeth, died at birth. The second eldest is my sister and best friend, the newly engaged Dani. The third is my newlywed brother, AJ. I was born in Oakland, CA and we moved when I was just over a year old. Then we lived in Great Lakes, IL, followed by Chula Vista, CA, followed by San Diego, CA, followed by Cedar Rapids, IA. I graduated in Cedar Rapids, IA from Kennedy High School in 2006. I got my AAS in Medical Assisting in 2007 from Kaplan University in Cedar Rapids, IA. Then I went online and started going for my BS in Health and Wellness. I will graduate in October of 2009. At which point, I have no idea what I will do next. My two favorite choices are joining the Navy or joining the Peace Corp. Anything I can do to make a difference is something I want to look into. We only get one shot at this life and I want to try to make a mark. |
