Introduction	Kalinga (Odisha in India) still stands tall as a witness of more than 2000 years old historical legacy. Buddhism became world heritage only because of Kalinga War which became a turning point in world history. The barbaric carnage of millions of innocent who laid down their lives to uphold their self-pride and defend their Motherland changed Chandasoka to Dharmasoka. First time in world history, a conqueror get conquered by Dhamma, Ahimsa & Satya and became the patron of these virtues of Buddha worldwide. The wealthy Kalinga cherished its rich maritime socio-cultural influence with Malaysia, Indonesia,Japan, Philippines and Sri Lanka where still the local people feel proud of their Kalinga lineage. Kalinga epitomizes Valour, Opulence, Enterprise, Adventure and Pride. It is not just a historical territory to be remained in the textbooks, it is a thought, a belief, a spirit of dauntless vivacity to be lived upon. There is a Kalinga (Lion) within everyone among us which needed to be awaken to show His majestic aura to the world.Long live the spirit of Kalinga.
