| Introduction | Currently, enrolled in a Professional Social Media Class that will entitled, "Is One Life Enough?" which will utilize this blog for the next 10-12 weeks to journal activities on a weekly basis. I am hoping to learn how to manage my ever-growing virtual footprint. Fenix has been on television, written about in a book, a newspaper, several websites and recently was in a newspaper without my knowledge! The course, taught in Second Life by the Dublin Institute of Technology states that one of the outcomes will be knowledge of the regulations and conventions that govern content creation. That is what brought me to take the course. Also, since I teach for Drury University in Second Life I thought that I would like to experience being a student in that virtual environment. I might even be able to share my experiences with the classmates newer to SL as we are supposed to have quite a bit of group work. That said, I guess the world will see what happens as I blog here,weekly, to meet the requirements. I am a reluctant blogger :/ |
