Introduction	stared racing after reading a mag story about the Raid Gauloises in 97 and luckily for me Salomon X-Adventure started in 98 in the UK. I run the Hospital hillwalking club and was asked if I could raise money for one of the units in the hospial, so got a team together and got sponsors and did the Salomon X and loved it. I and the clubs team have entered all the UK based Salomon 2day events, also the Blue-Eskimo (fourth place) 2000, Hi-Tec and Trailplus,Ace races,Ad Rush 2002. The team changes all the time depending on who can get time off work. So if you live in Scotland and are looking for a team to join email me.And now I am the Race Director for Adventure Zone Scotland Which Run Adventure Races For Teenager between ages of 14 to 16 in and around the Glasgow area.On the 15th July 20008 we put on our first Adult / Youth Adventure Challenge called the G66+ Live Adventure Challenge which was a great success for the club we hope to build on this with more event in the future .
