| Introduction | I create jewelry from sterling, copper and brass, combining it with pearls and other gemstones, and I LOVE those pieces. But, what makes my heart really sing, are my "junk drawer jewels". You know, those bits and bobs from our childhood, those things found on a walk that make you pick them up and put them in your pocket...for someday. The broken watch that you know you'll never have fixed, those coins from Lithuania that are left from the trip in 1972, the keys that open doors to places and things long forgotten. While at the bike shop one day, I remembered a bracelet I had seen years ago made from an old inner tube. TA-DA,there it was...use bike tubes to raise money to support bike riders. |
