| Introduction | I'm an artist, a fisherman, an aging-athlete, a wannabe-lead-guitarist, the owner of new blog and a very devoted husband to my wife, Betsy. I’m a native Tennessean, born and raised in Memphis and currently residing in Murfreesboro. God blessed me with some wonderful gifts, and this site is a means to share some of those gifts with others. I’m largely a self-taught artist and I primarily work with watercolors and acrylics. While I’m interested in painting just about anything, fish – and the sport of fishing – have dominated my subject matter in the past few years. I grew up in a family of fishermen (and fisherwomen) and it seems only natural that a sport so ingrained in my thinking would permeate my artistic pursuits. You paint what you love, after all.
