| Introduction | I am married to Steve (almost 17 yrs) and we have 2 kids (Josiah-15 and Lydia-12). We live on a farm in Western Wisconsin where Steve raises beef cattle and grows crops. I'm not out in the workforce in the traditional sense but I manage to stay quite busy with running kids around to their many activities or running farm errands for Steve, managing the household and everyone's schedules, and participating in a couple of bible studies. I grew up in the western suburbs of Chicago and worked in "Corporate America" for 10 yrs until I moved to St. Paul, MN at the ripe age of 28 to go to college for my early childhood teaching license. I decided to stay home once our kids were born. Now that they've been in school for many years, I'm starting to think about what I should do with myself. Currently, my passion is photography. I love to capture God's creation through my camera lens. In the meantime, I try to keep up with the housework and drive kids from here to there and everywhere. So how did I get from there to here? | Interests | First and foremost the most important thing to me is to glorify the Lord in all I do and say. It's been a 25-year adventure and I mess up quite a lot but I am always learning and growing. I love to cook and experiment with different ingredients, create foods that will undoubtedly not be a hit with my family; crochet, hang with my family. My absolute favorite "hobby" is photography. I love to get out there and capture God's creation all around me. It's amazing what one can see through the lens of a camera. |
