About me

Introduction I had this ball of anxiety and unexplainable sadness in me for years. It was like there was a fist shoved in my heart, and a biochemical party going on in my brain that I wasn't invited to. I wanted what most of us want: to be happy, to find a little bit of inner peace. I found it when I encountered Reiki, yoga, meditation, and the Tao Te Ching. This stuff helped me drag myself out of my unexplainable sadness. I received my Reiki III certification in 2006 and became a certified 200-hr yoga instructor in 2008. Now most days I can't believe I get to share the beautiful, inspiring, and practical wisdom of these practices with others. I love my students, and I'm so grateful. Plus, I get to wear sweatpants every day, which is pretty sweet.
