Yeah, sure, some drunken courtier futilely tried to stab a huge hunk of boar thigh with his spoon about a thousand times and thought, "What might I do so that I can spear this tasty morsel and lift it to mine lips?" Finally he thinks, "By jove, I've got it! I'll file down the sides and top, and cut a deep groove in it then sharpen it to points. Or I would if I knew what a file was." Nope.
