About me

Introduction	I am a human resources professional with 35 years experience. I’ve held senior management positions with nationally renowned companies like Kemper Insurance, Barnes and Noble, and Intermedia Communications. Also, I worked as an HR Officer for a regional bank, a pharmaceutical company, and food processing company. Also, I’ve actively served on the Board of Directors of a local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management for several years and am a Past President. I’ve also served a six-year term as a member of the Board of Directors for two local not-for-profit organizations, serving as that Board's Assistant Treasurer and Chairperson of the Personnel Committee, and later Board President. I have presented at several conferences providing insight into human resources policies and procedures, conflict resolution, and good management practices. I am also a published novelist.
