IntroductionI am a twenty-something, dry-humoured, day-dreaming, art deco-rating Brisbanite, who is recently-ish married with no kids or child replacements. I am a Christian but am not very good at sharing my faith actively. I do however thank God often for the wonders of creation and the endless opportunities He has given me in my fortunate life! My loves are heavily dictated by my stomach and you can often find me collecting, but little preparing, recipes, along with scouring the town for new culinary delights. When I'm not exclaiming over a delectable dessert or sweet treat, I love to explore the wonder of God's creation. Photography and travel are two keen pursuits, of which i do very little! Another is gardening - but alas I am better at being a plant-disease detective than a green thumb. As a wonderous procrastinator you'll find me indulging my creativity in a sport of blogging - which I hope you enjoy!
InterestsOh you know, the usual, annoying my husband, bringing dry humour to the masses, spending excessive amounts of time on mind numbing pursuits where I bemoan the lack of time for anything concerning ye old literate/cultured pursuits. Oh, and Fungi and other microscopic pathological delights, in all their many and glorious forms! (scared yet?) Normal things include, photography, reading, creative writing, facebook, blogger, plant pathology, gardening, craft, vintage, travel, cooking
Favorite moviesThe Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Toy Story, LA Confidential, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Crash, Hot Fuzz, Waking Ned Divine, Lock Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels, Much Ado about Nothing, 10 things I hate about you, High Fidelity, Singing in the Rain,
Favorite musicVery diverse! Having a music buff husband can't help but influence my music taste alittle, but it is still reassuringly erring towards the 'bad' (I say ecletic!). Some new found joys come from, Augie March, The Wishing Well, The Pippettes, Holly Throsby, Darren Hanlon, many more from Candle Records label. Oldies but goodies, Dusty Springfield, Gypsy Kings, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Spice Girls, Little Fish, Mad Hot Ballroom, My Summer of Love, LA Confidential
Favorite booksToo hard! Let's just say anything by, Bill Bryson, is a sure fire winner in my book, Favourite of his, A Walk in the Woods, .Okay, if pushed I also like, Round Ireland with a Fridge, and anything by, Paulo Coelho, Nick Earls, .Oh did I mention I liked, High Fidelity, too?, So much more to read though! And haven't even touched on the classics!

You can punch a hole in an apple using a straw. How do you think that makes your milkshake feel?

Clearly it makes the milk-shake for the mighty force this strenuous straw exerts! It also belies a deeper fear, that of inadequacy. "With all the ingredients for success how could I have gone so wrong?!" - the milkshake muses. "It seems all too obvious now, the chinese sage moo moo ying was right". You can make the straw come to the milk, but you cannot make it drink.
